We have begun getting ready for our recognition assembly at the end of the month. Our class have teamed up with the gr. 1's and gr. 3's and are excited to present for you. Hope you can attend on the 30th of April.
We had a wonderful time at the communion retreat back in March and I'm sure you know that the children are very eager to make their first communion. We will be taking a class picture. I'm pretty sure it will be at 2:30pm in the parish hall, but I will confirm.
In math we've been learning about measurement. The students had a lot of fun measuring the length of the primary/junior hallway. Ask them if your child if s/he remembers how many metres it is. We will soon begin learning about capacity and volume.
We will also begin our fairytale stories. The students will write their own fairytales with their own characters and make it into a little booklet that they will share with the gr. 1's and their reading buddies. Next week will we also get to present our fairytale plays to the gr.1's.
